Crema Cafe & Artisan Bakery

Seal Beach is an amazing little beach town. We have a bunch of shops and restaurants that are unique to our town. One of them is Crema Cafe. They have the best breakfasts in town. All of their bread is baked in-house and the food is super fresh and flavorful. Just check out one of my recent breakfasts above. That’s the Seal Beach Scramble. Oh. my. gosh. It was so good!

Last month Crema Cafe had an open house for their new Artisan Bakery and offered a baguette making class. I’m so glad I signed up because they taught us the proper way of forming the baguettes and explained their process for baking. It was also really neat touring the cafe and bakery and seeing their ginormous ovens! Once we were done, we were given a fresh baguette and a coffee mug. I <3 mugs! And bread. I ran home with the hot baguette to share with Matt. We ate the whole thing within a matter of minutes. It was really, really good! Also delicious are their melt-in-your mouth croissants. I don't normally like croissants but I can't stop dreaming about eating one again. For a few minutes during the class, I seriously considered resigning from my job so I could learn to make bread at Crema... or in Europe... whichever. Haha! If you find yourself in Seal Beach, be sure to stop by for breakfast or lunch! Crema Cafe & Artisan Bakery 322 Main Street, Seal Beach, CA 90740 Mon-Fri 6:30 am - 3:00 pm / Sat-Sun 7:00 am - 4:00 pm
