When I woke up this morning I could tell the day was going to be chilly and overcast. I would have preferred to roll over and go back to sleep but I needed to get to work and Matt and I had to run an errand. Last week when I got an oil change, the mechanic told me my battery needed to be replaced soon. Well, I didn’t replace it and really didn’t notice it running down. Thankfully it didn’t die while we were in San Diego or especially when we were way out in the middle of nowhere to see the (horrible) Moscow Ballet. Matt stopped by the grocery store last night before coming home and that is where ScarJo decided to poop out. Our grocery store is only a few blocks away so he left the car there and walked home. This morning we borrowed a friend’s car so we could go get the battery replaced. Right before Matt was going to pull it out I asked if I could try to start it. He kinda rolled his eyes but let me try. The dern thing started! I guess she doesn’t like the chilly night temperatures we’ve been experiencing lately. We dropped off our friend’s car and went straight to Autozone. While I was waiting for what seemed like an eternity, I snapped this photo. I know people make fun of girls for taking pictures of their feet but I do it all the time. And I like them. And my shoes. Aren’t they cute?! They are corduroy Big Buddha shoes. I like the colors in this picture and thought it was a fun representation of our morning. I worked the rest of the day, worked out, and am now about to veg for the rest of the night. Goodbye, Thursday. TGIF tomorrow!
